Host training without an LMS

Skip the LMS evaluation. Train your team this week.

CourseBldr makes the training. BLE Academy hosts it. You get the parts of an LMS that actually matter — invites, due dates, completion tracking, certificates — without the procurement cycle.

You need to train 30 people on a new process. Maybe 100. The right answer should be: open something, upload the content, invite the team, watch the dashboard. Instead, the right answer becomes: evaluate four LMS vendors, get IT involved, argue about SAML, sign a one-year contract, configure roles, upload SCORM, troubleshoot upload, and finally, six weeks later, send the first invite.

CourseBldr + BLE Academy collapses that timeline into a Tuesday afternoon. You get:

  • Branded training kit (Student Manual, Instructor Guide, Slide Deck, all 12 deliverables)
  • Hosted training site with your team's seats
  • One-click learner invites by email
  • Due dates with automatic reminders
  • Per-learner completion tracking + progress dashboard
  • Auto-issued tamper-evident certificates
  • CSV export for HR / compliance / audit

Subscription pricing starts at $49/month. Cancel from the Stripe portal any time. No procurement, no SAML, no contract cycle.

Invite by email

Paste a list of emails into the admin. Each learner gets an invite, signs in with magic link or password, and lands on their assigned course. No directory integration required.

Assign with due dates

Set a due date per course, per learner. Automatic reminder emails fire 3 days before due and daily after overdue. Managers see who's behind at a glance.

Track completion

Per-learner progress: which lessons are done, quiz scores, time-on-platform. CSV export for HR systems and compliance audits.

Verifiable certificates

Every completion auto-issues a tamper-evident certificate with a public verification code. Learners share on LinkedIn; auditors confirm on a public page.

How it works

From topic to shippable program.

  1. 01

    Build the training

Pick a CourseBldr kit (Pro $347 / Team $497-$997) and generate. 3–8 minutes of AI build for a full multi-day workshop.

  2. 02

    Subscribe to hosting

Solo Trainer $49/mo (25 seats), Pro $149/mo (100 seats), Business $399/mo (500 seats). Or the Make + Host bundle: 3 kits + 12 months of hosting for $1,997/yr.

  3. 03

    Publish in one click

From the CourseBldr wizard, click 'Publish to BLE Academy.' Your kit lands in your Academy admin, ready to invite learners.

  4. 04

    Invite, assign, track

Paste learner emails, set due dates, send. The dashboard shows progress in real time; certificates issue automatically on completion.

Common questions

The five questions everyone asks.

How is this different from a 'real' LMS like Cornerstone or Workday?

Functionally similar for the 80% case — invites, assignments, tracking, certificates, reporting. Different in scope: no employee directory sync, no SCIM provisioning, no per-role permissions matrix, no integration with HRIS. If you need those, you need an enterprise LMS. If you don't, BLE Academy is the right tool.

What if our team grows past 500 seats?

The Business plan covers 500 seats at $399/mo. Beyond that, the Enterprise tier is custom — typically organizations needing SSO, invoice billing, custom onboarding, or per-tenant branding. Contact us to scope.

Can I host content from somewhere other than CourseBldr?

Yes — BLE Academy accepts SCORM 1.2 uploads from any source. The CourseBldr publish path is a one-click optimization, but the LMS works as a standalone hosted LMS for any SCORM content.

What about SSO?

Solo, Pro, and Business tiers ship with Google OAuth and email/password. Enterprise tier (custom) adds SAML SSO, scoped roles, and per-tenant branding. Most teams under 500 seats use Google OAuth as their de facto SSO and never miss SAML.

Can we cancel any time?

Yes — Stripe portal handles cancellation. Service ends at the end of the current billing cycle; your published courses stay accessible until then. No multi-year contracts, no per-seat termination fees.

The LMS evaluation isn't the right project.

Build the training. Host it. Invite your team. Tuesday.
